Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams is born in Italy as her father worked as a soldier in the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The mid-1990s saw her begin professional dancing and acting with Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was made a part of Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary film that explored beauty contests. In Los Angeles, she pursued acting as a profession following her film debut in where she played an uneasy but fun contestant. Between June 1951 and September 1962, she got engaged with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, discovered by actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a deal with MGM to launch her film career actress in the mid 40s. In the decade that followed, she appeared in many well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
